Doon Public School, Paschim Vihar outshined all others once more in the recently held DDA Invitational Basketball Championship, held at DDA. Sports Complex from 29 September, 2009 to 1 October, 2009. The Senior boys basket ball team bagged the Championship Trophy and won 12 Gold medals. Even in Taekwondo, Doon added a feather to its cap when Hemant Rawat (Class VI) bagged the Gold Medal in the C.B.S.E. Taekwando Championship held at Vidya Jain Public School, Rohini from 3-4 October, 2009. Hemant has also been selected for the Nationals to be held at Ambala.
Doon has always ruled the roost in skating and once again Shubham Nijare (Class II) bagged one Gold and one Silver medal, P.V.S. Ajay (Class V) bagged one Gold and 1 Bronze medal, Deekshit Bhasker (Class VI) bagged 1 Silver medal and Varsha Maan (Class IX) bagged one Silver medal in the C.B.S.E. Skating Championship held at Remal Public School from 2-4 October, 2009. These 4 students have been selected for the nationals to be held at Chandigarh.

- In the 4th Mount Abu Under 11 Cricket Tournament 2008-2009 held on 25 to 30 April at Mount Abu School, our team were the runners up.
- In the 2nd Ryan Skating Competition held on 29th of April at Ryan Public School , Vasant Kunj, Shubham Nizare of class I won a Gold medal and PVS Ajay of class IV won a Silver medal.
- Shubham Nizare, a student of class I added to the fame of the school by performing ‘Limb skating’ for ‘Shabash India’. He had to pass under the 10 rods of fire placed at the height of 15 inches from the ground. Shubham has been practicing under the able guidance of his coach Mr Ajay Sharma. The episode was shot on 5 July in Surat , Gujrat and will be telecasted on Zee TV in August.
